Ignite The Path
To A More Harmonious Relationship With Your Child
Supporting parents and caregivers to create more harmony in the home, manage difficult moments, and strengthen their own resilience
Your Coach
My name is Nick Moriana, Certified Professional Life and Resilience Coach, and founder of Ignite Path Coaching. I believe that parenting and caring for children is the hardest job in the world. This can be even more difficult when caring for a child who experiences emotional and behavioral challenges. Escalations, power struggles, exhaustion on all fronts. It can be hard to hold on to hope that things will get better, and families can become "stuck" in this cycle of conflict.

Throughout my 21 year career in the field of crisis intervention and Behavioral Health, I have seen this dynamic. I have also seen the innate drive and resilience that parents have to continue to show up for their kids and help their children achieve their fullest potential. This triumph and resilience is one of the main reasons I founded Ignite Path Coaching.

Applying the skills that I have honed, I bring an empathy, curiosity, and humor to my work in supporting my parents, caregivers, and families. I understand that everyone's journey to living is a deeply personal one. Thus, I provide an individualized approach to working with each of the clients that I serve. Every step of the way, you will find that I provide high levels of support, encouragement, and accountability that is specific to your strengths, needs, and goals.

If you are a parent or caregiver of a child or teen that experiences emotional and behavioral challenges, and you are feelings overwhelmed; please know that you are not alone and that things can get better. You have the resilience and the answers inside you already, you may just benefit from some support in having guidance in seeing them.

What is Coaching?
Coaching is a professional service where the certified coach partners with clients to help them identify and achieve personal and professional goals through a process of accountability, motivation, and support.
Is this therapy?
No, coaching is not a form of, nor a substitute for, therapy. Therapy involves a deeper processing of things like childhood experiences, attachment styles, and thinking patterns. Therapy also focuses on treating mental health diagnoses and trauma healing. Coaching on the other hand in more present and future focused. When working with a life coach, you set goals for your future, establish action plans on how to reach those goals, and receive accountability support from a coach. In the context of life coaching, the past is looked at only as a way to better understand your thinking patterns and belief system as it relates to your current situation and goals.
